Sabel Custom Chassis

Sabel, Inc. was a leading designer, engineer and manufacturer of custom heavy-duty truck chassis’ and related service components for niche on/off highway transportation markets. 


Sabel’s chassis’ were typically utilized by public utility companies and private contractors as the mode of transportation for insulator washers, digger derricks and line tensioners and in such specialized public and private vocations as crane carriers, aerial work platforms and drilling rigs. 


Sabel went from a ground zero start-up, with a backlog of $560K to $3.2MM in revenues, with 28 employees in 36-months. 


Sabel assets were sold to the Kimble Companies, in 2001, to form Kimble Chassis.
